Our precious daughter Aria Boo was born on 21 November 2023 and passed away on 9 August 2025. She lived with POLG mitochondrial disease, a cruel condition that steals energy from every cell. She was loved beyond words, and her light continues to guide us.

Aria (21st November 2023 - 9th August 2025) was diagnosed with POLG mitochondrial disease, a rare genetic condition that affects the body's ability to produce energy at a cellular level.
Though her time with us was heartbreakingly short, Aria filled our lives with love and joy. We run and race in her memory, for every child and family affected by mitochondrial disease.
